O’Donnell Industries moves to protect patented Snoozer® Pet Products Greenville, South Carolina — On June 21, 2007, O'Donnell Industries Inc. filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina alleging patent infringement against Animals Matter, Inc. of Torrance, California. O’Donnell Industries alleged infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,204,205 for its Vehicle Console Pet Seat that issued in April of 2007. The lawsuit was settled by agreement between the parties on June 30, 2008. Greenville-based manufacturer O’Donnell Industries and its marketing subsidiary, Snoozer® Pet Products, respect the intellectual property rights of others and are diligent in protecting their patents and intellectual property. O’Donnell Industries, established in 1985, is a privately held manufacturer that markets pet beds, pillows, safety harnesses and car seats under the brand name of Snoozer® Pet Products.
